My name is Nimzing Ladep. I am a consultant with specialisation in hepatology (liver diseases). I had practiced medicine internationally and at the present, working as a consultant in the UK. My highest degree was a PhD in epidemiology and urinary discovery of biomarkers for liver cancer (Imperial College London). I have a specialist certificate of gastroenterology of the Royal College of Physicians of London. I had also qualified as a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (an equivalent qualification of the MRCP).

This blog came out of from my experiences. I have always loved to interact with patients and the public, with the interest to enhance them stay and maintain a good health. I have been engaged in providing health education to school children since 1998 and which continued to when I taught medicine to medical students. I discovered the dire need to close the gap of lack of information to patients about their health needs and have been engaged in social learning education as well as within the corporate environment.
